Diet | They eat grass, grains and berries. |
Feeder Food | Canada geese do not visit feeders. |
Habitat | Suburban areas including parks, golf courses, and reservoirs. |
Nesting | Canada geese nest on the ground, usually on an elevated piece of land close to water. They have one brood/season, and 2-8 eggs/brood that are creamy white in color. Incubation lasts 25-28 days and fledglings leave the nest about 42-50 days after hatching. |
