HabitatOpen woodlands especially those with pines and oaks, orchards, farmland with some trees.
NestingCavity nesters – old woodpecker hold or manmade nesting box. 2 broods/season, 4-5 eggs/brood, 12-18 days incubation and young fledge at about 20 days.
